About Gael
Gael is an author with two commercially published books to her name and a filing cabinet full of other stories. All of these are used when she is storytelling. She also has a repertoire of traditional tales available whenever they are required.
As a seasoned librarian with experience in public, special and academic libraries, Gael is adept at listening to the conversations and comments of her audience, thus finding out what they really want. She also has an instinctive understanding of not only the kinds of stories they need to hear but also of the specific version of a particular tale that the audience wants. This means she sometimes ditches her carefully prepared program but this “on the fly” adaptation is worth it.
